Granite is a naturally occurring igneous rock, with variations of both grain & colour. Granite withstands heat better than most tops, though trivets and heat plates are still advised. Granite is difficult to scratch and highly stain resistant once sealed. It will maintain its polished looks for many years.
Quartz is an ideal material for kitchen worktops. Pure quartz is mixed with colour pigments and resin to create eye-catching variations of colour and design. This mixture ensures a durable, stable, non-porous worktop that is also resistant to chemicals. Quartz kitchen worktops enjoy heat and scratch resistant properties not just for a couple of months but during their entire life.

Silestone is a compound made up of 94% natural quartz, which make it extraordinarily hard and resilient. This is the one and only worktop made of quartz with anti-bacterial protection, giving it hygienic properties that are not to be found anywhere else on the market. It is an excellent surface for kitchen worktops, bathrooms, floors and wall cladding using the minimum number of joints.
Corian is an advanced blend of natural materials and pure acrylic polymer. It is a proven material that brings design versatility, long-term performance and value to any environment. Corian worktops are hard to scratch, but if the surface is scratched it can be easily renewed since Corian is solid and uniform from surface to surface. It is also non-porous which makes it stain resistant as liquids will not penetrate and seep in.
